4-Side Double Pouch with Perforation

The 4-side sealed double pouch consists of two pouches connected laterally which can be easily separated from each other along the integrated perforation and used individually. This characteristic means that this pouch type is distinguished by a high degree of flexibility and user-friendliness and increasingly used for products such as powder, granulate, tissues or creams.
In addition to the packaging of an identical product in separate chambers, two different products, such as sauce and the associated condiment mixture, can be filled in one double pouch.

The double pouch can be individually adapted to suit different product characteristics and customer requirements and enables the realization of different product volumes and filling quantities. In order to optimize handling of the packaging, a variety of resealable systems such as zippers or memory strips can also be manufactured on TPG machines.
Other additional options include easy opening or the Euroslot which can be integrated without difficulty in the packaging machine.

The double pouch is completely manufactured from a roll of composite film and filled on TPG packaging systems. Following sealing of the vertical and bottom seams and the perforated strip, the completed pouch is transferred to the rotary table for filling. The filling processes, top sealing, either thermally or, optionally, using ultrasonic tooling, is also completed here on the turret.
